glad someone noticed and I don't even know why I started doing it, just one day I tried it a little and it stuck. Im really liking the style just haven't completely figured out what to do with all the time, but it feels really natural.

It's definitely a fun style to play around with... It encourages subject matter that's got texture... I keep meaning to really experiment and play around with it, and I kick around ideas of self-publishing where the whole book will look like that... but each page will be like 15-20 hours... ha

well I don't use curves are anything just free hand the stuff so it doesn't take me very long. I think my book will look something like this I just dont know how it will look at the super reduced size of comics. It looks great at full size though. This is one of the few times I didn't try and create a new style it just started coming naturally. Think it just has to do with a little more confidence that im drawing with these days. Im really liking it

Yeah, grouping the lines and spacing are key when it comes to reproduction... Resize this piece and you'll see what you like and don't and you'll know how narrow and close you can put lines together. I gotta say I'm really enjoying seeing you integrate this kind of linework... It definitely beefs up the black and white art and it does a nice job indicating light sources to colorists...

good idea of printing it out to see how well it works. It is very fun to do. Guess I Have been looking at too much Brandon Peterson and Andy Brase work lately, They are masters of this type of stuff.

Very true... but don't forget Franklin Booth, Alfredo Alcala and Berni Wrightson... or even further back like Albrecht Durer...
